percentiles ?

Samuel Solomon
Hi All,
I tried to find percentiles through SAS and SPSS.  The results, to my utter surprise, were different  though I  provided the same input data.
your help needed to reconcile the results.

thanks,
Sami

AW: percentiles ?

willers
Hallo Samuel,
the definition of precentiles is not unique. SAS has 5 methods. The exact
number in SPSS I don't know. Details you will find in the documentations.

I think this question is discussed in this group also. Maybe you are lucky
searching this group.
