posterior probability in discriminant analysis

Zetu, Dan
Hello:

Does anyone have experience with computing casewise posterior
probabilities in discriminant analysis from the available displayed
output? I do know that SPSS saves these automatically but I need to
figure out a mechanism to compute them since I need to score future
cases in a different medium than SPSS.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Dan

I have always had the original cases and the new unclassified cases on
the same machine so I have not used this.

click <help>
click <index>
type "discriminant" in the edit box
type <enter>
click <exporting model information> in the drop down list.

and for the algorithms
click <help>
click <contents>
click <algorithms>
click <discriminant>
