probit regression

Dimitris Nikolaou
Hello to everybody!

I have run a pooled probit for the impact of health on labor force participation. How can I interpret the coefficients?

For example, if I find a coefficient of 0.2 for fair health, is it correct to say that "fair health increases the probability of labor force participation by 20%"?

Or I should say that "fair health increases the probability of labor force participation by 0.20 points / units"?

I would be very grateful if someone could help me.

Thanks in advance!

Dimitris
