qualitative and quantitative analysis for a cluster randomized sample

I have to compare means and rates from a cluster randomized trial data. I don't know which options I have to set in Analyse > Descriptive statistics and Analyse > Compare means.
I use Spss v.19.

Your analyses need to take into account the clustering, so you'll be needing to use MIXED or GENLINMIXED, I think. Try Googling on terms like <analysis of cluster randomized trials> to find relevant info.

Analyze > Mixed Models > Linear (for MIXED)
Analyze > Mixed Models > Generalized linear (for GENLINMIXED)
