Hi all,
in repeated measures ANOVA the total SS are partitioned into SSbetween
subjects and SSwithin subjects. I understand the math, but on a conceptual
level it is unclear to me what happens with a potential covariance between
"between" and "within" subject variation (e.g., people with high "scores" as
compared to others are more likely to exhibit a higher/lower change over
time). How is this information contained in a rep. measures anova?
Thank you for any comments, references, or insights why this is a dumb
question;-)
