Hello SPSSers,
Apologies for asking a non-SPSS related question, but more of a statistics/ analysis question... We are in the midst of analyzing a survey that uses a "retrospective" design. Our respondents have all gone through an intervention and are asked at the conclusion of the intervention to rate themselves on a series of outcome measures "before intervention" and "now". Ideally, we would have asked given them a baseline survey and a post-survey and had a true pre-post design, but for a lot of reasons, this wasn't feasible.
Since the survey is post only and we are asking them about themselves at two points in time, it seems fairly limited to me in terms of what kinds of analysis procedures might be appropriate. Any suggestions? From my perspective, even a paired sample T test is sort of cheating.
Thank you!
