selecting all variables in "compute variable" box?

Is there an option to select all  variable at once to enter into "SUM"
function? Or do I need to enter each individually?

Hi Talino,

Use the "TO" convention: select only the first and the last variable and write by hand TO between them. So you'll get something like

SUM(var1 TO var5)

Which is the same as

SUM(var1, var2, var3, var4, var5)

You can even write eg.

SUM(var1 TO var5, var7 TO var9)

Instead of

SUM(var1, var2, var3, var4, var5, var7, var8, var9)
