spssengine stopped

Can some help? Is something wrong with my installation or missed I an important part of the program?

I run following syntax with SPSS18.0.1.99
GET
  SAS DATA='J:\cult02.sas7bdat'.

And get this error message back

I switched to another PC having SPSS17 installed and it worked out ok.

Hi,

Not sure about v18, but older spss versions did not support the latest SAS datafile formats. I'd check the syntax reference guide if I were you.
