Hi,
I'm running a GLM multivariate with 2 IVs (Design_SRC and Selection_SRC) and their interaction. The two IVs are a recode of an existing variable (recode into different variable-->old and new values). Both have the same values (1=company, 2 = customer). Once I run the GLM-->multivariate and place the IVs as the fixed factor, on the output it displays the following warning: "The subcommand Design_SRC is repeated. The last occurrence is used" In reviewing the Multivariate tests, no tests are run for Design_SRC but they are run for Selection_SRC, their interaction and any other variable I put in. What does this warning mean? How can I fix this? If I run a one way anova using Desing_SRC as the factor I have no problems. Help! Adriana |

Have you checked to see how related your 2 IVs are?

In what sense?
My two IVs are my manipulated variables that created the four conditions of the experiment. So I'm trying to measure the main and interaction effects. I changed the values of one from 1,2 to 3,4 and that worked for a while. Eventually I got the same message again. I've tried this in SPSS 15 and 16 and get the same problem in both >===== Original Message From "Swank, Paul R" <[hidden email]> ===== >Have you checked to see how related your 2 IVs are? > >Dr. Paul R. But have you checked to ensure that there has not been a coding of recoding error that might be causing the problem, Simply doing a crosstabs for the two variables would clarify this.
