symmetric similarity matrix as input for the cluster command

Hi all

I have imported a symmetrical similarity matrix in the spreadsheet
that I would like to use in a hierarchical cluster analysis.
I figure that I must use the MATRIX IN option somehow since I don't
what to compute similarity/dissimilarity. But since I don't have the
ROWTYPE_, VARNAME_ varible I cannot proceed, how can I convert my data
so that it is accepted by CLUSTER/MATRIN IN?
