But is that really true? I believe you also said that string '(aa:b)' means 'aa' atoms in a 'b' bond. I'd pretty much guess you are wearing people out and they are going to stop responding. So, tell us what the values of PCa mean and how they were computed. Tell us the design that generated these data. You want to compute odds ratios (and Bruce and David have been around the block with you several times already on that topic). I hope to God you know that odds ratio computations require a 2x2 table of two dichotomous variables with a greater than one number of cases in each cell OR a dichotomous DV and a continuous predictor. Mass and CompoundFormula are irrelevant to the problem. In the new data in my previous email, I recoded 0 (absent) for the value of 0-1 of PCa and 1 (present) for the value of 1-20 of PCa. P means lipid species that are from groups (e.g.,
cholester (CE), dihydrosphingomyelin (DSM), phosphatidylcholine (PC),
egg phosphatidylcholine (ePC) and egg phoshphatidylethanolamine (ePE),
SM). String '(aa:b)' means 'aa' atoms in a
'b' bond. I identified 31 lipids by the FDR. And I want to calculate odds ratio of these 31 lipids with PCa. I know that odds ratio computations require a 2x2 table of two dichotomous variables with a greater than one number of cases in each cell OR a dichotomous DV and a continuous predictor. That's why I am asking if there is any way for me to calculate odds ratio of 31 lipids. I heard that I can get odds ratio of 31 lipids by using logistic regression. I did logistic regression.
