SPSS 13 - for the second time this year,
I got an error dialog box to check the integrity of the subject file when
starting SPSS and it refuses to start. When I navigate to the file
in the SPSS directory it has a size of 0. This appears to be happening
upon or after running a production routine that runs two .sps syntax files.
Luckily I have SPSS 13 on two nearly identical machines and copying
the file from the other machine, which is about 5k, fixes the problem.
I haven't had the same occur on the second machine.
What is doing this, can I write - protect
the file, does it matter if I replaced it with the file from a different
machine?
Thanks for your assistance.
