Try "R" at http://www.r-project.org/ or "GNU Octave" at
http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/.  R runs in Windows, OS 10, and
unix.  Octave runs on unix.  Both are excellent and free.  R is a clone
of S and Octave is a clone of Matlab.
