Max number of cases & variables in SPSS 19

Hi All:

 

In our institution we have a database with over 95k records (including initial & follow-up records), in order to manage this database we are using SPSS 14. The problem arises when we move data from SPSS 12 to 14 and inversely, some of the variables and cases went cut-off or missing and we have to check and recheck data for integrity. The question is: How SPSS 19 behaves when importing data from previous SPSS versions?; Is there a constrain in database size, specifically in the max limit of variables of cases SPSS 19 tolerate?
