In SPSS generalized estimating equations (GEE) you have the option to do a contrast between the estimated marginal means and correct for multiple comparisons. The results give you a global Wald chi square test as well as a table that shows which levels of your factor differ from each other in pairwise contrasts (which is the comparison that I requested).
My question: What is the name of the actual test being run to do these pairwise comparisons? I can't seem to find it in the SPSS documentation and I would like to report it.
