That's odd. Under Windows 7, the legacy viewer won't display (or export) graphs (unless admin),
but other output types are Ok. Copy-pasting pivot tables works fine, for example. Perhaps an installation error? An alternative would be SaxBasic, but that still requires SPSS <= v15. You can also use an unlicensed "old" spss version as a heavy-weight viewer. I wish that a spo viewer be included in the forthcoming version of SPSS though.

I need to recreate the syntax file from the associated output file. The output file is an spo file and I have the legacy viewer and I can open the output file. However, I can't copy anything from it and I can't export or save the output file in any other format. I'm not happy about this but what else is possible? First of all, SHOULD I be able to copy log objects or edit log objects? Is there another way to read and save the file? Something else?
