Hi Mils,
Data restructuring in SPSS is like an extension of data transpose: (Selected) Variables/Cases to (Selected) Cases/Variables. It may be a little bit time-consuming because you have to figure out what each SPSS Wizard window is designed to do and what each step means. But it is very doable after some efforts. I would follow the case studies provided in the SPSS HELP documentation. And it typically takes me a couple of runs before making everything correct.
