bootstrap issue, now can't install V22 fixpack1

I've been having problems with bootstrap option in regression (crashes V22.0.0.0 every time on Mac OS 10.8.5)) so I thought I would see if there is a fix.  BTW, bootstrap option works fine in unianova and correlation.

There is V22.0.0.0 fixpack1, though it doesn't say anything about the bootstrap problem.  So I downloaded the .dmg and on the volume there is SPSS_Statistics_Installer_Mac_Patch.bin.   When I double click this as I would do with any update installer, it merely compresses the file to a .cpgz and no update is installed.  The support website is profoundly unhelpful.  

Does anyone have advice?
