custom tables

Hello everybody

i have the following question
i produced this table (difference is calculated (2014-2008)

                  2008       2014  difference
var               5%          7%          2%

If there is no 2008 variable, this appears like this
                  2014   difference
var                7%        7%

Is there a possibility to not show the difference column if there is just one measurement instead of two?
