A new extension command, STATS OPTIMAL DESIGNMC, has been added to the Extension Commands collection on the SPSS Community website.  The command produces an optimal experimental design dataset using Monte Carlo methods and the Federov algorithm.  It handles factorial and mixture designs of various types.  It requires the R Essentials.

The command can be installed from the Utilities menu in Statistics 22 or later, and it can be downloaded from here for earlier versions.
