The help does not require an internet connection.
It is installed locally on your computer. Does Help>Topics work? If
so, you can access the algorithms help (and all the other help) that way.

This question is really to ibm-spss rather
than to the list.
Does access to the help (not syntax reference,
which is a pdf) and algorithm documentation require the computer be connected
to the internet? I ask because on a disconnected computer, I was unable
to access the algorithms documentation (Help > algorithms). For what
it’s worth, the default browser is firefox. Is this a problem with firefox?
