SPSS 27 - issues with computed categories in custom tables

Wonder if anyone else has experienced problems with custom tables refusing to run when computed categories are specified (e.g. making a category  which adds cats. of fairly and extremely satisfied)

getting this message

Warnings
Subcommand CATEGORIES: Computed category &cat10 is not recognized.
Execution of this command stops.

Doesn't seem to be any issues with data file and never had this before v.27

Any thoughts welcome
