I have a data like

ID   country  year     var1  var2
1       x        2004     243   325
2       x        2005     266   415
3       x        2006     277   520
4       x        2007     230    300
5       y        2004     170    455
6       y        2005     205    320
7       y        2006     170    217
8       y        2007     220    188

the series is repeated but the data is different from country to the other how can be put in spss and what is the appropriate analysis
thanks a lot for help

You would  well to provide a more complete description of your data,
Anyone posting a response directing you any particular direction would be derelict!
# of countries, # of data points in series, measurement level of the data?, seasonality?, how is it different from country to country?, Have you plotted the data? What does it look like?  Is the response univariate or multivariate? what is the point of your research?  If any of these terms are alien to you then time to get on Google or Bing or what not and doing some homework.
Help others to help you by knowing how to frame a question and don't rely on ESPSS.
Meanwhile read the pinned topic: "Tips on posting questions to the SPSS list thread".
