Dear Colleagues,
I have a 2x2 data set in which I'm using
contrast coding to assess main effects and interactions via
regression. I have unequal cell numbers, but I've decided to use the
unweighted means approach since the cells aren't vastly disparate.
I've heard that there is a way to do this in SPSS, the experimental
method (which would be the weighted means approach), and the unique
method (which would be the unweighted means approach). Of course, I
know how to do a regression analysis, but I'm not familiar with how
to get the output I'd need in this case. Thanks very much for your
