v16 - background shading too dark - solutions please

Version 16 - in Variable view when a variable name is selected the backgroud
changes to a very dark blue.

Can't see the variable name - is there a way to change the colour that the
background changes to on selection ?

If you are using the SPSS Standard Look (the default), and are using SPSS on
Microsoft Windows, the selection color is tied to your Windows Theme. Take a
look and see what it is using for selection.
