weight cases once not always

Nelson, Dean E
I used the weight cases dialogue box to weight cases.  Even though I turned weight cases off, every time I open the file and do an analysis, it weights the cases unless I go back and turn weight cases off.  Is there a way to keep SPSS from doing that.  It happens in either version, 15 or 16.

Saving the file with the weights turned off should do what you want.
