We're upgrading Spss (v14 --> v19) and I was wondering what your experiences are with something like this (positive and negatieve). I have a very elaborate "What's new" document, but I would like to know some practical issues people run into. Also, the documentation I have focuses on functional characteristics. I am also interested in how well non-functional requirements are met (e.g., performance).
Some specific questions:
-The program SyntaxConverter.exe (part of spss) can be used to convert TABLES syntax to CTABLES syntax, or to convert IGRAPH and GGRAPH. Why would I want to do that? CTABLES is not part of Base Spss, so it requires an additional licence. I don't know if this also applies to GGRAPH
-Are there any parts of the program that moved from Base Spss to add-on packages?
