AMOS error message

roshayu
I tried running my model with pilot data using AMOS. It works with AMOS 5 the student version, but an error shows when I tried to run the estimation using AMOS 18. The error says "The observed variable, XXX is represented by an ellipse in the path diagram".

Any idea how do I fix this?

Hi,

You should represent observed variables with rectangles, not with ellipses. I guess you know this. Then maybe you named a latent variable with a wrong name (which is already used in your data file) by mistake? Or the error seems more complicated? It can be ... It's difficult to understand the error without seeing the model and the data.
