CTABLES

Weinberg, Jerry
My university just installed Version 16.0 on our machines, however we
did not purchase a license for the Tables modules. I see now that my
trusty Basic Tables and General Tables options are no longer available
under Analyze >Tables. Apparently, everything now is subsumed under
CTABLES.  Since, the syntax for this procedure is quite cumbersome, is
there a way to nest variables in the table using only the graphical
interface?

Re: CTABLES

You may have access to TABLES via syntax only. To nest variables using the
graphical interface just drag and drop them to the right or bottom of any
existing variable in the columns or rows. Also, take a look at the help and
possibly a tutorial for custom tables.

Your existing TABLES syntax should continue to work. You can also nest variables in the Custom Tables UI, although this might not be exactly the same as nesting in TABLES. In the help Contents tab, go to Tables Option>Stacking, Nesting, and Layers with Categorical Variables.
