Cox regression time-dependent covariate

Hi,

As part of my coursework at uni I have to use coxreg with time dependent covariate. I found an example in help/case studies and I followed it through, but I am getting the following warning:

"Since coefficients did not converge, no further models will be fitted."

Some help on this would be appreciated.

I just ran the syntax in the time dependent covariate example and am not getting the error you mention (running v20).   What version of Statistics are you running?

This usually happens when one or more time-dependent covariates are not properly defined by time function or time step function.
