Custom Tables - Nesting both Row and Column

Andee D
I am trying to nest both row and column variables in custom tables, using
the GUI.

The following is what I am trying to accomplish:

 /TABLE agegrp[C]>cat[C] BY Year[C]>num[S]

I find that I can nest CAT under each agegrp, but then the GUI will not let
me drag and drop the other variables into the table (i.e., nesting by both
row (agegrp/cat)and column (year/num)variables).

I had a similar problem once.  Have you checked the level of measurement of
year and num in your data editor?  Do these tally with your syntax?

Ah, it looks as it the year was scale in the data editor - which solves the
problem! Thank you.

An additional question: How do I get 'cat' percentages within each 'agegrp'?

Thanks
