by a "distribution base" do you mean a "histogram"?
What do you mean by a "a single data"?
In statistics and in SPSS we deal with a "data matrix" or table. We
speak of the rows of data as "cases". These are the entities, places,
people, etc that measurement methods are applied to.
The columns as referred to as 'variables". Each column measures
something about the cases. These might be an id, height, weight, IQ, etc.
The intersection of a row and columns is a cell and it contains the "value".
What constitutes a case in you data? What constitutes a variable?
How is the variable measured? Is it categories like cities, schools,
etc.? Is it whole number (integer) data with only a few values like
{Never, daily, every few days, weekly, a few times a month}? Is it
continuous with many values. Temperature, income?
