Generating Multiple Pivot Charts

cmacken
I am creating charts for 80 schools x 2 scores x gender, and x race, and  x
ethnicity for a total of 160 charts for gender, 160 charts for ethincity,
and 240 charts for race.  I can create a pivot chart for each school
individually, but I was wondering if there is a way to genrate the 80+
charts with one command.  Rather than having to go into the pivot table,
select the school, and create a pivot chart, are there pivot table
options/command syntax to create all 80+ charts simultaneously?

If you can generate the syntax needed to make one graph per group, you can use the SPLIT FILES command by the groups of interest and it will replicate the same chart over the subgroups. See here for an example, http://stackoverflow.com/a/13822487/604456.

It is difficult to give much more useful advice unless you are more specific about the end chart you want and how your data are currently formatted.

Are you trying to create all these charts by first creating a pivot table and then using table to chart many times?  That's a bizarre way to create charts.  Why not use the graphics functionality directly?
