Alternatively, check the CREATE command and its NTILES subcommand.

Sorry I was not clear ,  I want to calculate (syntax) new variable Var2.
The value of Var2  is percentile 25 of Var1.

COMPUTE @ID@=$CASENUM.
RANK Myvar / NTILES(100).
SORT CASES BY MyVar (D).
COMPUTE p25=nmyvar LE 25 AND LAG(nmyvar) GT 25.
SORT CASES BY p25 (D).
IF $CASENUM=1 p25=myvar.
IF p25=0 p25=LAG(p25).
SORT CASES BY @ID@.
