Interaction in Amos

Can someone kindly tell me how to create an interaction in Amos?  Do you need to multiply each scale item (observed variable) individually?  So if a 3-item factor interacts with a 4-item factor, the resulting interaction  would have 12 items (3x4) feeding into it?  Is this correct?  Is there an easier way?

I don't know per se (It has been awhile since I did much with SEM).
However, straight products of raw variables will most definitely result in serious multicollinearity.
I did a quick Google "SEM interaction" and found a number of results including:

I suggest you look at this:

Interaction between latent variables is handled automatically in MPLus.  You
could look at Bengt Muthen's work in this area, I'm sorry I don't have a
reference to hand.
