Hello All,
I am trying to run a missing values analysis in SPSS 14, with a P4 machine and 3 GB memory. My data file is large (about 15,000 records). I keep getting an insufficient memory error message every time I tried MVA. I increased memory allocation using SET WORKSPACE; I reduced the number of variables in the analysis; and I closed most other programs. None of these seemed to help. Any suggestions? Thank you. The MVA procedure stores all the data it will use in the workspace. SET WORKSPACE to
(number of cases)*(number of variables used in MVA)/120. Send your MVA syntax to the list.
