Macros : Merging Datasets

Hi all,

I have tried a lot but could not succeed.Can anyone help me in writing the macro for merging two data sets.

Help > Command

 

Then look at MATCH FILES on pp1141 ff

 

If your files are quite small you could always try copy/pasting the data from one to the other in Data View and then do the same for the dictionary info in Variable View.

Why do you need a macro if there's only two datasets? That case is normally handled by a not-overly-complicated MATCH FILES (same cases, different variables) or ADD FILES (same variables, different cases) command.
