Opening SPSS v15 output with SPSS v14

Trudy Poon
Dear List,

I have problems opening an .spo file generated by SPSS v15 with SPSS v14.
Have anyone had the same problem and may know the solution to it?

Any comment would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Trudy

Unfortunately - and I'll jump for joy if somebody proves me wrong -
it's probably not possible. The .spo format changes with each release,
and it's not expected that earlier versions will be able to open files
from later releases.

As noted in an earlier message, this is only the output files that new
versions cannot be opened in earlier SPSS versions.  Data files (.sav)
and syntax files (.sps) from 15 can be opened in 14 and vice versa.
