I have encountered a problem with SPSS16 which (with other problems) may
cause me to keep using version 15 instead: In SPSS16, I copy tables output (in this case, I'm factoring and I copied the component matrix outut)into Microsoft Word 2000. The tables appear twice! But if I delete one of the images, they both go away. The duplicated tables don't print twice if I print-preview. But this is interfering seriously with the what- you- see- is- what- you- get aspect of Word. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so have you found a way to prevent it or remedy it? Sometimes word doesn't render images correctly -- what happens if you paste
the image and save the file? Does it appear in you re-open the file? Another thing to try is to change your view in Word so that it redraws the page. I don't have this problem but then I don't have Word 2000 either. -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Straus, Ian Sent: Monday, June 23, 2008 9:03 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: Pasting SPSS16 tables into MS-WORD I have encountered a problem with SPSS16 which (with other problems) may cause me to keep using version 15 instead: In SPSS16, I copy tables output (in this case, I'm factoring and I copied the component matrix outut)into Microsoft Word 2000. I assume you are copying and pasting. Have you tried exporting your output to a word doc? See if that gives you the same error. Sara Sara M.
