Dear List members,
I have one question about opening pivot tables in Viewer windows. Is there any way to control how I want pivot tables to be open? It seems like pivot tables have their own mind when I try to open them. When I double click a pivot table, sometimes (when I feel lucky...) I can access and edit the table directly within a Viewer windows (that's easy and a lot more convenient). However, quite often a new small window pops up, and I have to resize the window to see and edit the whole table, which I found quite bothersome.... I haven't figured out what triggers a pivot table to open in a new window, but I'd much rather be able to use it within a Viewer. Any tips or suggestion would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance, Jin |
You can set Pivot Table Options by selecting
Edit-->Options Go to the Pivot Table tab and look at the options in the box (lower right side) for 'Default Editing Mode'. There are some additions and updates to SPSS Developer Central (www.spss.com/devcentral) that might be of interest to Python programmability users.
A new module that calculates estimates for multiply imputed datasets. It requires AMOS 7 or the equivalent to impute the dataset and SPSS 15 An update to the DisplayDict.py module that allows writing dictionary information directly to a text file and has improved line wrapping behavior. It works with SPSS 14 or later. A comprehensive, cross-module set of documentation for the posted Python modules other than the spss module itself. It is a zip file containing a set of html files that can be used with your browser. You can find these in the Downloads section of the site. We hope that you find them useful. Jon Peck SPSS |
