R 2.14 plug in

R 2.14 plug in Have installed latest version of R 2.14 and am attempting to install SPSS plug in
The essential was downlaided from SPSS site for spss19.0.0.2 – my current version
Get message can’t find R 2.10
So where is plugin for R 2.14?
Any help much appreciated

For technical reasons you must use the version of R that the plugin was built for.  That changes for each version of Statistics.  For V20, it is 2.12; for V19 it is 2.10.

You can have multiple versions of R installed, but Statistics must use a particular one.  In most cases R packages will work with a variety of R versions.

It sounds like it would be much simpler and less fiddly to just use R directly if one wants to use R.  ;-)
