I would think you need to contact your SPSS rep.
S/he is more likely to have an accurate answer for you than this list.

I repeat my question because I did not get any answer. Anything to make

I try to install my fully payed SPSS 16 on a new Win 7 notebook and
can't get the program to register my licence. I guess this has to do
with the fact that the IBM website has an url that does not figure in my
old licence registration app.

How to register a SPSS licence on the IBM SPSS site ?

Did you try going to the License Key Center? You need the lock code of your machine to generate keys.

It is quite a bit of a pain, esp. if you (like I, recently) don't have an internet connection because of corporate policy.

By the way, Melissa: you will probably run into some compatibility issues
once you've installed version 16 on Windows 7. I say probably because I
installed an older version (13) than yours. One error message I get is: "OLE
Automation will not work, unable to load type library spsswin.tlb". It does
not prevent the software (SPSS) from working. Also, I get a message that the
desktop view of programs open will change. The change is there only when
SPSS is open and reverts to its normal view once you close SPSS. As I said,
it does not affect the functioning of the program, at least what I've used
it for so far. I haven't searched the now IBM/SPSS site to find out if there
were any fixes for these incompatibilities. I did not get these error
messages when I used XP.

Anyway I thought I should forewarn you.
