Running a chi-square

Rinehart, Shelley
I am attempting to run a chi-square test through the non-parametric
tests, however I keep getting a warning that there is no license for
SPSS exact tests.  I have a license and do not understand.  Any advice
would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Shelley

SPSS Support
Hi Shelley,
Are you running SPSS 16.0? There was a  bug in version 16.0 which generated the error you described. The 16.0.1 patch resolved this error. See below.

Hi Shelley,

SPSS is by module (e.g. SPSS Base, SPSS Categories, SPSS Regression Models, SPSS Exact Test).  SPSS Exact test is one of its modules.  I suspect that your machine has no SPSS Exact module.  Try to check your license modules by running this syntax:

                          show lic.

Cheers,
Johnny
