Hello,
Just a message to inform you all. Last week I installed the 16.0.2-patch. It solves many many problems, but now I'm not able to print my output. I already contacted SPSS tech support, but I just want to inform the ones who still try to use SPSS 16. I have no problems in printing with 16.02. What happens when you try? Can
you open the print preview window? -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Francien Sent: Monday, April 28, 2008 8:10 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: SPSS 16.0.2 print problem Hello, Just a message to inform you all. I don't have administrator rights. Dear All,
We face also printing problems with spss 16.0.2 (apr 10, 2008). 1st: Users having only user privileges on the XP are not able to define and set print options by using spss. (The way around was to copy the printer and set the printing preferences by using windows. So they have to printers on screen for the same machine, but with different settings.) 2nd: Some similar is true for users with normal user privileges, the help bottom under the procedures does not return the tutorial "movie" e.g. >analyze >classify >hierarchical cluster (they get an error message saying that java cannot find specific files with the extention *.chm. This is true for all statistical functions. However, it works fine and without problems if the user has administrator rights on XP. Our IT does not agree to give every spss-user administrator rights. Can someone propose another solution? Actually for me, V.16.0.2 (mac) is the first version in years that
DIDN'T have a printing problem. V. 11 and V. 13 mac reliably crashed SPSS whenever printing to Canon MP760 or Canon MX310. I lived with the problem without too much inconvenience since I usually reduce SPSS tabular output in Excel, and graphs I customized in Powerpoint. regards, Ian On 28 Apr, 2008, at 11:15 AM, ViAnn Beadle wrote: > I have no problems in printing with 16.02.
