SPSS 16 and TextPad

flo statistik
Hallo List,

this week I switched from version 15 to 16.
My problem is now that my syntax editor TextPad can't communicate any longer
with SPSS.

Maybe somebody in the list has an solution to this problem or can recommend
an other edtitor which is able to to send marked syntax to SPSS 16.

I hope that someone can help me,

Flo

tdRunSyntax.exe uses an SPSS component named "runSytntax.exe". The problem is that SPSS 16 renamed that component "runsyntx.exe". The fix is easy. Just go to the SPSS install folder (usually C:\Program Files\SPSS) and copy and paste runsyntx.exe in the same folder. Rename the copied file "runSytntax.exe" and you should be good to go.
