I would think JoNoH would have brought this up.
I found out thru back channels (LinkedIn). At any rate in the same familiar labyrinth. http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/options Go for door #4 rather than door #1 ;-( I accidentally DL the patch for the server rather than client despite the obvious labeling (er sarcasm). Be prepared with your 'IBM ID' which is actually your email address and password ;-) Now: What was actually fixed?

I'd thought that once registered, the site was supposed to automatically email us with the notification of the new patch. :-\ The list of fixes can be found under the "More Information" link underneath the patch. Then from that there is another link to the list of fixes. Rendering of the pages in the current Firefox is awful. I had to scroll to the bottom of the page before the whole page would render - otherwise I only saw those bits the cursor was passing over. :-( Took ages to get the patch - especially since it's not possible to re-enable the Java plugin needed for the download widget. Firefox disables it because this release of the Java plugin has some deathly security vulnerability But the normal process of re-enabling the plugin doesn't work (the tab just seizes up) and you need to nuke the tab before you can go back and try one of the other download methods. For what it’s worth, I have not had the best success with the “automatic” patch, or relying on the system, once logged in, to detect any needed patches etc. However, in these cases, I have had great success reaching out to IBM and, though arduous, getting someone to isolate the specific patch needed. I miss the days when SPSS was a stand-alone company and reaching out to them didn’t require explore grade sleuthing skills to get through the labyrinth of GUIs and sub-menus. Regards, Joseph A.
