SPSS & Statistics Book

Eugenio Grant
Anyone has knowledge of good SPSS V.13 or older books, mostly focused on
explaining Statistical methods and how they work on SPSS. Not only how to
perform the calculations but also how to interpreter the results. Some
theory about clusters might be a plus.

Re: SPSS & Statistics Book

If you can get, the first edition of Andy Field's book "Discovering
Statistics With SPSS", I believe he does his examples in version 10 or
something similar, it is an excelent introduction text to statistics with
good explanation and some nice examples. If you are looking for more complex
topics, hopefully other users can reccomend some texts.

Why might I ask are you looking for something V.13 or older? V.13 is not
that old, and many of the books that use SPSS versions in the single didgets
will look like greek if you have no experience working with these older
versions.

The best in my opinion is "SPSS: Survival Manual" by Julie Pallant.
Fantastic document.
