Shelf Test

I have an important problem at work.

 

We need to run a Shelf Test for one of our client but his requirements are very high.

 

We have 25 products and we need to generate shelfs which contain only 15 products. Every respondent should see its own shelf display. The products on the shelf will be arrange in random way. The shelf should also be "active" (the respondent picks a products from the shelf).

 

Also we need to control the shelf exposure time.

 

Another objective is to count the seconds until the respondents identify a certain product.

 

Do we have any idea about a software which can perform our demands?

Hi Alexandra,

You can make shelf tests in Sawtooth Software. Here is a link that might give a hint of what can be done within Sawtooth.

About the exposure and the time until respondent pick any product, I think it can be done through some scripting, calculating the time between the page loads and some event on the page loaded.

I could program it with php and put it on my server. Statistics inclusive (SPSS files and evaluation by a statistician). I've done a shelf test for BDF Germany.
