TWOSTEP How to find AIC and BIC for different numbers of clusters considered.

Art Kendall
In older version of SPSS, TWOSTEP would show the AIC or BIC for
different numbers of clusters when AUTO was specified for the number of
clusters. For example, if one asked for a max of 12 clusters there was a
line for each possible clustering of 12, 11, 10, ...2.

Now that there is more visualization in the output I cannot find this
info.  Jumps in AIC or BIC give a ballpark for the number of cluster to
retain.

I thought this info was going to be put back in the output for version
20 but I cannot find it.  Am I missing something obvious?

Art,
I believe that you have to ask for it. This may be syntax-only
via subcommand:       /PRINT IC.

That's according to the Syntax Guide.

Hi Art,

It's not in the Model Viewer output, but in traditional pivot table output.  You need to request it with /PRINT IC.

The TWOSTEP syntax still supports the PRINT subcommand, which will give you the traditional output.
