V20.0.0.1 Install Error

Installed the Client update and get a Server/Version error:

"Warning # 9021
The version of the SPSS Statistics Manager does not match the version of the

SPSS Statistics Processor.  There may be problems regarding communication
between the two.  Use "SHOW VERSION" to determine the two version numbers."

The update was installed on the same PC as the initial V20 install

Any thoughts or a solution would be helpful

From the data editor click on File > New > Syntax .

. . to open a blank syntax editor, then write:

SHOW VERSION .

. . and get a table eg:

Not sure what you do after that.

Everything seems to be working and installed modules still show OK

 

Guess should just leave it and then when fix comes it would be installed over this one - Right?

Naturally, as soon as this patch was released, this error surfaced.  The team has recalled the patch and is working on a fix.  I have not heard how this occurred.  It does not happen on my system.

Take that back, nothing processes so looks as if must reinstall original?
